They could not in my case. Had to run a new USB. I was pretty disappointed in my Best Buy installers over all. Been back 4 times to have stuff fixed or adjusted. Steering wheel controls still do not work and they do not care.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the stereo can do this - it just requires an adapter to extend the USB to your car's USB port. If an installer can't accomplish this, they should find another line of work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It depends. In my vehicle, they weren’t able to utilize the built in USB port and have it work for CarPlay, though there is an adapter that may or may not work for it. Just ask the installers for their opinion.
