• The remote worked out of the box with batteries inserted on a different Sony TV and Sony Blu-ray player. Sony equipment is very friendly with the Bravia system. it is usually plug and play after connecting the video/audio cables. One Sony Bravia unit will usually recognize another Sony Bravia unit without programing codes.

• Yes, this TV will work with your model but it is highly suggested that you use the one that came with your television, the RMTTX102U.
