“I have an articulating adjustable wall mount for my old 65" Panasonic plasma tv. This mount is fully adjustable so I feel that it will be able to fit the back of the Sony but my question is can the tv support the weight as the current mount leans forward?”

It depends on the weight limit that the mount is rated to hold. The 75''X950E is a very heavy TV, So I would recommend checking on the mount weight, if you can't find it, buy a new one. Don't risk it.

Please try again later.This completely depends upon your mount, I had an articulating wall mount that my previous TV was on, the tv was 75 lb this TV is closer to 100 lb it seemed to be too much weight for this mount as it was starting to Bend forward. After some research I found out about Echo gear mounts. I ordered an articulating Mount from Amazon which the TV is on right now these mounts are far superior to any of the other four that I have. This mount seems very solid and I can move it wherever I want to. Just make sure that you are securely anchored into wall studs
