QuestionFor my frame of reference : On a scale of 1 - 10, if the LG OLED's image is a 10, where would the 75" Z9D and the 75" 940D fall ? - Keep in mInd that the LG OLEDs come in a max of 65", and the 75" TVs offer a noticeably larger cinematic experience.

- Answer This is kind of hard to answer as the real answer will vary based on your room and lighting in the room. In a standard room on picture quality alone, Oled - 9, Z9 - 8.9, 940D - 7.5. Also the OLED is available for pre order in a 77" model.

QuestionI have an 82 inch Mits DLP with a gorgeous picture. I am spoiled by such a large screen. I want the benefits of the SONY Z9D technology, but hesitate. Will I be disappointed with a "smaller" 75 inch TV? When will an 85 class model be available?

- Answer There is not going to be an 85" of this model, but the 100" Z9D ships in November to the lucky few who were able to get the first round of pre-orders. I hope to see mine by January.

QuestionI bought a Sony XBR75x940D from Best Buy. It had a screen defect so, Best Buy told me to contact Sony. They replaced it & works fine. I wanted to buy the XBR75Z9D at that time, but you said it wouldn't be here until December. Now it's here can I trade up?

- Answer Depending on how long ago you had the tv swapped you should still be in the return/exchange policy. Even if you're not you're upgrading so the store should make the exception, I know my store would.

QuestionI need to know if this TV comes with the VUDU app installed? I have over 1000 movies stored in VUDU so without this app installed like my current TV it would be use-less to me.

Questionhello. i have a problem with this model, the tv is in 3d mode, and i can not get out from this mode, when in the remote control i go to... action menu, select 3d.. in the menu .appears 3D ON..when press select say Feature currently unavailable.Some idea?

- Answer Try doing a hard boot, unplug the tv and wait 2-3 mins. If that does not work, call sony, they can tap into your tv remotely and do a software update / diagnostic test

QuestionHi. Can I use the SU-WL-830 mount on a XBR-75Z9D which has the same 400mm X 300mm vesa. The 6 1/2" height of the mount mated to the tv seems pretty small... OK for 75X940E with higher than center vesa... but XBR-75Z9D with center vesa placement ???? THX

QuestionA number of online sources (and BB in-store reps as well) are claiming that the Z9D will be getting a Dolby Vision firmware update this year, but so far I've found no *official* statement on that from Sony. Has Sony made that official? (SonyListens?)
