6 or 7 feet depending on your eye comfort. I have a Sony XBR-70" and I sit 7 feet from the screen most of the time unless I am sitting in my gaming chair and in serious Movie Mode.......and I sit 5 feet from the screen for the effect of a bigger screen and close up action. The thing most people may not realize is that the bigger screen you have and not sit too far back the better for your eyes for they will do a lot of side to side & up and down eye movement which it great exercise for the eyes......
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We sit 9 feet from the 75 and 8 feet from the 65. Any larger a set at that distance would probably be too much. Remember blu-ray movies produce a cropped picture so go with the larger set accordingly. I'd rather err on too big rather than too small.
