Hi JF, Thank you for your inquiry. The stand width of the KD-75X80J is approximately 52-3/8 inch (1,330 mm) and depth of 16-1/4 inch (410 mm). If your TV stand is wider than this approximate stand width, then it should support the 75 inch variant of X80J. To provide balance, stability and to prevent the TV from toppling over, we recommend using the supplied TV stand. Regards, Jess

Please try again later.Yes it will work, however that said, I recommend getting a swiveling wall mount because the 75 inch is so massive you will want to be able to get the biggest bang for your buck. Plus it will also free up space on your console. Also the width is about 12 inches for the feet and it is not easily manipulated.
