Unfortunately, the 65" a80j I had installed 2 weeks ago will NOT allow me to sign in and use my apple+ app no matter which suggestion to resolve I tried. And I continue to read the posts of others in my same situation. I have tried all of the suggestions to no avail and hoping Sony addresses as it certainly appears to be an issue within the tv but I am not the expert.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think there were some issues when first released, but on mine the AppleTV app works perfectly fine, with DolbyVision and all. I think there could be some compatibility issues with using Apple HomeKit? But I haven’t run into those issues, and don’t really use it anyway.

It is listed in the apps section of the home screen. You can launch the Apple TV app there and access the Apple TV+ app within it. If you are referring to Apple TV streaming devices such as Apple TV HD or Apple TV 4K compatibility, yes, you can use these streaming devices with this TV via HDMI connection. Hope this helps.
