“I was told the center speaker channel was built directly into the tv which eliminates the need of my speaker on the mantle. I have 4 speakers in the ceiling and sub woofer for Stero sound. Is this true or do I need the center speaker?”

That is true but you may need a sonly receiver or soundbar to get that to work. Also there is an issue with the tv buzzing when used as a ceneter speaker. I have to get mine serviced which hopefully will eliminate the buzzing.
