Ordered and received the 65 inch version yesterday(DC area). Orders were going through for a short while before the status changed to “coming soon”. TV set to release in the US in the 2nd week. Not sure if some of our orders went through as a result of a system glitch. Not complaining lol :-) New firmware update was available immediately upon setup. Experience moving from a 2021 Sony OLED: mind blown with the quality of the picture when watching movies. Regular TV watching in standard mode: not likely to notice anything different.

Many were able to snag one before they closed the gap. The street date was supposed to be Oct 10. Im waiting for the first price drop before splurging.
