  • QuestionWhen will the Sony 77 A95L be available to preorder and purchase?

    Asked by JThomas.

    • Answer Ordered and received the 65 inch version yesterday(DC area). Orders were going through for a short while before the status changed to “coming soon”. TV set to release in the US in the 2nd week. Not sure if some of our orders went through as a result of a system glitch. Not complaining lol :-) New firmware update was available immediately upon setup. Experience moving from a 2021 Sony OLED: mind blown with the quality of the picture when watching movies. Regular TV watching in standard mode: not likely to notice anything different.

  • QuestionCan I also pair this TV with the remote control from my existing 65A9F TV? I really like the button layout and quality of that remote and would not want to lose it if I upgrade to the 85 inch model.

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer You would do your customers a service by telling them they can also use the ""Sony Led TV Remote Control RMD TX600U" with this TV even while the other remote is active. There are people who want more function from the Remote Control than is provided by the very limited function one provided in the box.

  • QuestionDoes this TV display art?

    Asked by ER.

    • Answer Hi ER, Thank you so much for your inquiry! Yes, the XR77A95L can display art. However, please be mindful of the potential for image retention on OLED screens if static images, such as photos, are displayed for long periods. To mitigate this, the TV is equipped with features like pixel shift, screen savers, and brightness adjustments to help protect the screen. See fresh, bright colors and pure blacks. Our Cognitive Processor XR™ maximizes the expressive power of QD-OLED, filling scenes with unprecedented realism. I hope this helps! Regards, Carl

  • QuestionDoes this tv provide enough clearance for the Ht-a7000 soundbar or will the screen be obstructed?

    Asked by NeTFLoODeR.

    • Answer Hi Snowynorth, Thank you for the question. The 77A95L will have a 3-inch clearance allotted for Soundbar placement when on a soundbar position. The HT-A7000 7.1.2ch Dolby Atmos®/ DTS: X® Soundbar has an approximate height of 3.25 inches (82.55 mm). Unfortunately, this soundbar will not fit underneath the legs of the TV and will block some portion on the bottom of the TV. If a soundbar that will fit in front of the 77" A95L is your priority, you might consider getting our HT-A3000, HT-A5000, HT-A8000, and HT-A9000 soundbar models. The HT-A3000 has an approx. height of 2.52", HT-A5000 has an approx. height of 2.75", while the HT-A8000 and HT-A9000 soundbar models have an approximate height of 2 5/8 inches (64 mm)- this will perfectly fit underneath the legs of the TV. I hope you find this information to be helpful! Regards, Jess

  • QuestionIs there an improvement this year with the screen dimming issue while gaming ? Or does the A95L still dim like all the previous model Oleds ?

    Asked by Alex.

    • Answer This TV does not dim while gaming in HDR (although it may if you let a static screen sit idle for 20+ minutes). If gaming in SDR, set peak luminance to medium to avoid any dimming caused by static HUDs.

  • QuestionCan I pair and use a Blue Tooth speaker with this TV while I also have a Sony - BRAVIA Theater Quad connected to the TV?

    Asked by Mark.

    • Answer YES, is the answer. I now have a Sony BRAVIA Theater Quad sound system connected (via HDMI) to my new Sony A95L. This morning I paired (via Blue Tooth) my Sony SBS-XB100 speaker to the TV. At first I could not get the speaker to output sound while the Theater Quad was also providing output. It seems the only way to get the two functioning together is via the BRAVIA Connect App on my smart phone. I selected both the Audio system and the SBS XB100 on the "Speakers" panel of the Audio output screen. After that, all was fine when the sound system and speaker are turned on. Remote Speaker Volume control is either via the "-" or "+" buttons on the speaker or on the TV Screen which nicely displays that sound is going to two destinations when the remote control volume control is activated. You can independently control the volume level on either the Sound System or Remote Speaker by moving between lines on the volume display and using the volume control buttons on the remote control. A nice little plus on the SBS-XB100 speaker is the pause/play button on the speaker to control streaming content. The Blue Tooth connection distance maximum appears to be about fifty feet and a couple of walls. Nice for my kitchen, bathroom and living room but marginal for my office. I hope THIS GREAT FUNCTION does not go away as software upgrades are pushed out.

  • QuestionI am looking to buy the Sony 83 inch XR A80L oled and I am also looking at the 77 inch XR AL 90L what is the difference between these two is theXRA80L the same as the XR95L , if they are there much difference between the picture that I receive. thank you.

    Asked by Acl123.

    • Answer Hi Acl123, Thank you for your inquiry! The main difference between the two models is their backlighting technology. The A80L employs OLED backlighting consistently across its entire lineup, while the A95L utilizes Quantum Dot OLED technology, positioning the A95L as the leading premium QD-OLED on the market. Both the Sony A80L and Sony A95L are exceptional OLED TVs. When it comes to picture quality, the A95L delivers the brightest OLED images that Sony produces, resulting in more lifelike visuals. However, the dark images on the A80L would be quite comparable to those on the A95L. With A80L TV, exceptional OLED picture and rich sound in perfect harmony, powered by the intelligent Cognitive Processor XR™. Billions of accurate colors and pure black make everything you watch and play come to life with natural hues and shades. Acoustic Surface Audio+™ turns the entire screen into a multi-channel speaker that follows the action on screen for a truly immersive viewing experience. And with the A95L, watching TV from the sides is truly satisfying. Our QD-OLED panel on the A95L keeps luminance constant for consistent colors across all viewing angles. Our brightest and widest range of colors and hues, all beautifully displayed on a QD-OLED screen powered by the intelligent Cognitive Processor XR. Hear true immersive cinematic audio with sound produced from the entire screen delivering an elevated sound stage and clear dialogue. Focus on the big picture with our minimalist design that fuses screen and bezel into a single slate. For a comprehensive overview of our entire range of TVs, featuring various screen types that are ideal for gaming, movies, and sports, we encourage you to visit the Sony website.
