There are 2 ways to experience the center channel mode, standard 16 gauge speaker wire for when using a stand alone receiver back to the center channel input of the receiver or if you have one or are planning on purchasing an A7000 or A5000 then the supplied (3.5mm cable) will be provided in the box of the soundbar. Please follow the instructions on setup for this feature. Hope this helps! -Sam

Please try again later.There are speaker wire tab connections on the television itself, I would only use this solution with a small surround system otherwise use an independent sound bar like the Sonos ARC. I would personally only use the tv as the center channel if using for example 4 ear level front and rear Sony speakers. All speaker manufacturers timbre is set differently so keep this in mind also. It is an option to do this with the 83” Sony A90J but not the optimal solution.

Please try again later.If you are using the tv speakers as the center channel from a AV receiver in a home theatre setup all you need is regular speaker, the same as you are using for the other speakers. There are two (black and red) clip connectors on the back of the TV for this purpose.
