“I currently have a C9 and i have the Apple TV 4K and Samsung HW-90R Soundbar, both connected to the TV via the HDMI inputs and would like to know will i get the same Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos pass thru on all the app’s (HBOMX, Netflix, Disney +, etc…).”

Hi Sony, Do you happen to have a list of compatible receiver and sound bars and only Sony branded. I specifically asked about the Samsung HW-90R sound bar and what you responded is very generic. I would hate to purchase the tv and have return it because it doesn’t play nice with my peripheral’s.

For streaming services apps (Netflix®, Prime Video™, etc.), the TV, streaming app, and selected content must support the Dolby Vision format. Additionally, certain Android TV devices support the Dolby Atmos format using Dolby Digital Plus™ technology as a pass-through. This means that although your TV can't decode Dolby Atmos, it's able to pass it through to a compatible audio or soundbar system through the HDMI® Audio Return Channel (ARC) or the HDMI enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) port. It is recommended to use high-speed HDMI cables. I hope this helps. Erin
