  • QuestionDOES THIS UNIT SUPPORT APOLLO GROUP TV

    Asked by APOLLOGROUPTV.

    • Answer Hi APOLLOGROUPTV, The Sony BRAVIA 3 does not officially support Apollo Group TV. Since the BRAVIA 3 runs on the Google TV platform, it only supports apps verified and available through the Google Play Store. Apollo Group TV is an unverified IPTV service that lacks official licensing and is not vetted for security by Google or Sony. To protect your TV from security vulnerabilities and potential scams, we recommend using officially licensed streaming services available directly in the Play Store. We hope this clears things up. Thank you for considering Sony! Regards, Dominick

  • QuestionHow do you remove the YouTube pre-installed app?

    Asked by Jen.

    • Answer Hi Jen, YouTube is a pre-installed system application on the BRAVIA 3, so it cannot be fully uninstalled or deleted. However, you can Disable it, which will hide it from your app list and stop it from running in the background. To do this, go to Settings > Apps > See all apps > YouTube and select Disable. You can also select Uninstall updates within that same menu to revert the app to its smallest factory size and free up additional storage space. Thanks for choosing Sony. Best regards, Eliab

  • QuestionIs this tv anti glare in a sunny room?

    Asked by Kenny.

    • Answer Hi Kenny, Thank you for your interest in the Sony BRAVIA 3! The BRAVIA 3 does not feature our X-Anti Reflection technology. While it provides a vibrant and clear picture, it may show some reflections if placed directly opposite a bright window or in a very sunny room. If you are looking for a television specifically designed to perform exceptionally well in bright environments, we highly recommend our flagship BRAVIA 9. The BRAVIA 9 is equipped with our specialized X-Anti Reflection coating, which significantly reduces glare from lamps and sunlight, and X-Wide Angle technology to ensure the picture stays clear from any seat in the room. We really appreciate you considering Sony! Best regards, Dominick

  • Questionwhat is the best way to transport?

    Asked by William.

    • Answer I have a truck and I could have brought it home the day of purchase. My thoughts are if something happens to it on the way home...its mine. Therefore I chose to let the Geek Squad bring it when they came to mount it on the wall. If they had an incident they could replace it and not cost to me.

    Asked by Boo.

    • Answer Hi Boo, Thank you for asking! The 85" Class BRAVIA 3 LED 4K UHD Smart Google TV (2024) does not support 3D Blu-ray or DVDs, as 3D capability has been discontinued in our current television lineups.
