  • QuestionI purchased a Sonos Ray Soundbar, which included an optical audio cable. Can this cable be used to plug into the K85XR70 TV? If so, where should I plug it in or how can it be used? Do I need an adapter?

    Asked by SonosSoundbarHelp.

    • Answer The answer provided is not exactly correct. I am responding in the event this will help someone else in the future. The Optical Digital cable that was included with the Sonos Ray Soundbar does not fit the port on the back of the Sony Bravia 7 TV. What is included, however, with the purchase of the Sony TV is an adapter that is needed to plug into the Optical Digital cable and then you can plug in to the back of the TV. Tks

  • QuestionWhat type of Ethernet can I use? I’m waiting on the tv and I’ll run the Ethernet so it’s ready.

    Asked by Mike.

    • Answer Hi there Mike. Hopefully this helps you or anyone else in the future. As a former Magnolia System Designer (formerly Best Buys Premium Home theater design division). I can tell you the with a 4K HDR television you'll likely want to use a Cat6e cable to connect this to any home network system as that connection will ensure you can deliver 1gb and greater speeds which really help with downloading 4k content. However, so long as you have a Cat5e cable at the very least you can still obtain 1gb per second speeds and should still have a decent experience. Hopefully this helps.
