What is included, however, with the purchase of the Sony TV is an adapter that is needed to plug into the Optical Digital cable and then you can plug in to the back of the TV. Tks

I can tell you the with a 4K HDR television you'll likely want to use a Cat6e cable to connect this to any home network system as that connection will ensure you can deliver 1gb and greater speeds which really help with downloading 4k content. However, so long as you have a Cat5e cable at the very least you can still obtain 1gb per second speeds and should still have a decent experience. Hopefully this helps.
