If the firestick is connected via e-arc that is probably why. Firestick often goes "online" and does stuff. Put an AV receiver in between and upgrade to some real speakers so no signalling gets to the TV without the receiver's say-so. Either that or take the FS off the E-ARC input - put it on a dumb input. This means you will need to turn both devices on individually.

We apologize for the inconvenience you're experiencing with your XR-85X90L TV turning on and off unexpectedly. Here are the steps we recommend to get this sorted out, starting with the easiest checks first: 1. Isolation Test: For a quick diagnosis, unplug both the soundbar and the Fire Stick from the TV. Use only the TV's built-in apps for a while. If the issue stops, reconnect your devices one by one to pinpoint the cause. 2. Check Auto Shut-Off Setting: The TV might be turning off due to a power-saving feature. Go into your TV's settings and look for the Auto shut-off option. Set it to Off to ensure the TV isn't powering down automatically. You can find more detailed instructions on disabling this feature here: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/articles/00032613 3. TV Reset Options: If the issue continues after checking all connected devices and settings, perform a power reset, followed by a factory reset as a last resort (a factory reset will delete all your data and settings). You'll find the instructions for both types of resets here: https://helpguide.sony.net/tv/kusltn1/v1/en-003/08-01_03.html?hl=reset If your TV continues to turn on and off by itself after trying all these steps, please contact Sony Support directly for an in-depth diagnosis: https://us.esupport.sony.com/support/s/support-contact?language=en_US&category=tv Best regards, -Fred
