Hi Tom, Thank you for your inquiry! Although the TV has 2 TV stand positions, (Standard, and Soundbar position) they have the same Width which is 61 inches and should fit with the 62 1/2 inches however, we recommend using a stable TV table top that can support the TV weight of 44.5 kg / 98.1 lb (without the TV stand).
