“With this 85 inch screen, how far should you be comfortable watching it from? What is recommended for viewing? Is it at least 6 feet distance or is closer okay too? My chaise is 3 ft away which is very close to tv. Thanks.”

So much depends on the quality of the source. Candidly, 3 feet is probably too close, even with 4K rez and HD10 and all the video improvements. At 3 feet, you probably cannot easily see the entire screen from side to side, without moving your head. Think of it this way... just how close do you like to sit in the movie theater? Too close and it becomes a chore to see all the action. I'm a little under 6 feet away, and I enjoy it... a LOT!
