A:AnswerFrom what I understand they will guarantee the price won't be lower or they will match it, that's why I bought mine a month ago. Talking to the sales people, they don't think it will go down in price on Black Friday, but you never know. Good luck.
A:AnswerNot sure how you have your system set up. I have a Yamaha receiver that the sound is good. However, I have a smaller Sony with a vizio sound bar for my office. I use a digital optic cord and that seems to work well.
A:AnswerHi Laura, Yes. This TV has a power button and volume (channel) buttons. Refer to this page for more details: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/4731/dfd4b8c2758485581a2950bbbdf23715/47319111M.pdf (8).

A:AnswerThere is a power button on the back on the left side that can be used to power on the tv manually.
This has to be the best looking tv I have owned so far and has a jaw dropping picture that i find hard pressed to be beat by any LCD unit at this price point.
A:AnswerEver been to a movie theater? Look at the dimensions of the screens. Those dimensions cannot be duplicated on a television screen. Thus the aspect ratio used to fill a movie theater screen becomes what looks like "cropped" on a widescreen television with the most common ratio being 2.35:1. Closer to filling the screen is the less common 1.85:1 and then even more to a full screen is the very uncommon 1.66:1 aspect ratio.
To fit your entire screen, these pictures would have to have the sides cut off and then stretched to fit. I don't t think that's what you want as you'll lose content and distort the picture.
Bottom line? Your TV is a 16:9 aspect ratio and so movies have to have black bars on the top and bottom to preserve their original movie theater look.

A:AnswerI went with a 3rd party warranty. With a set this expensive it seems like a bit or Russian Roulette to not have coverage for a couple extra years.
A:AnswerHI cyoung72, The quality of the image is dependent on the signal being provided by your cable provider. You may find this link helpful:

A:AnswerHi Bertcole, no, this TV runs on 120V AC only, when purchased in the US. We recommend purchasing the same model in Africa as it will match the region's voltage/power requirement. Thanks, -Mark
