It is, but the TV weighs 105-lbs by itself......The Wall Bracket should be rated for at least 150-lbs, and attached directly into the wall studs as directed...No Sheetrock Anchors for this thing... If you have a brick or block wall, you should have a professional do it with the appropriate fasteners. This one has a 45-lb reserve on weight, so if you decide to mount a Antenna or a sound-bar you can hang it directly from the VersaMount as well.... just make sure you dont go over the rated weight I used the Sanus Full Motion bracket linked below. It worked AWESOME and i can move it and my XBR85x950g with 1 finger. Extends far enough out that dusting and connecting things behind it is very easy Very solid. Caught it on sale as well fro half price on a Deal-Of-The-Day
