“My TV stand is 82 inches wide total but the 62 inches in the center is actually 1 inch higher than the remaining 10 inches on each side. The legs have to fully land on the 62 inch center with no overhang or land beyond 62 inches. Will it fit?”

The legs should land on the level 62” width in the middle of your stand. The actual width needed for the legs is just short of 60 1/2”. It will fit.
