Hello ChuckBiscuits, Sony's commitment to customer satisfaction is our top priority. To get geotagging activated you would to sync your unit to the creators app via mobile device. Once your camera is synced via bluetooth the location data should be in the metadate when you take photos. Just allow the location linkage activated. I hope this helps.
