• A:Answer Sony A7 series has 3 lines of products: 1) A7 R: stands for RESOLUTION which focuses on high-resolution stills photography 2): A7 S: stands for SENSITIVITY which focuses on low-light performance and videography 3): A7: that's a hybrid machine right in the middle with ok resolution and decent video capabilities. Technically both R and S are specialty series that are half a tier higher than A7 itself geared toward professionals which is reflected in its higher price points, and typically the latest top-end cameras don't have the software limit anymore meaning there is no more video recording limit anymore as long as the machines don't physically overheat. Currently, the S series is at A7S Mark3 the third-gen, while R is already in A7R Mark 5 which is the fifth-gen, while a7 itself is at 4th gen which is A7 Mark 4. Thus the names A7S3, A7R4, A7R5 and A74.

Once your camera is synced via bluetooth the location data should be in the metadate when you take photos. Just allow the location linkage activated. I hope this helps. I know this doesn't help for this questions timeline to help decide pre-order or in store pick up, so for that I apologize but wanted to give my experience here on my pre-order and the delay from having it shipped.
