Naja, it should work. Depending on what camera mount the lens was made for, you would need an adapter from that, to the camera. For example, if the lens is for a Canon EF mount, you would need an EF to NEX adapter. Almost any lens can be adapted to this camera. One issue is that if your lens is a modern auto focusing and image stabilized lens, the adapters are a bit expensive, $150 or more. If you have an old film lens, however, the adapters run $15-20. These would be completely manual of course.
