• Yes. But the lcd doesn’t turn so that you can see yourself. Maybe using the mobile app as a monitor or tethering your computer would work.

• Yes absolutely, keep in mind you'll be limited to 1080HD output. Also, there is no internal stabilization, but for your use It should work perfect. If you are wanting to move to 4K, you should also look at the A6300 for a little more cash.
