I did not have an issue with 750 pics and many videos taken in 4 days of photography using the LCD screen for snapping only, not reviewing. Each day I started with a fresh charge. One can buy a spare battery with charger. There are reports of fake Sony batteries on the Internet, so make sure you get from a reputable vendor.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I took 1300 photos and a couple videos and it was at 40% when I was done. I carry a spare with me, but I haven't had to swap it out yet. For me that's several hours of hours of wandering around. I only turn it on when I'm ready to shoot.
