Compact system cameras or mirrorless camera don’t have a mirror to bounce light from the lens up into a pentaprism or pentamirror unlike DSLR. Mirrorless camera also do not require mechanical movements, an electronic shutter usually enables faster shutter speeds than a normal shutter curtain found in DSLR. Regards, Zander
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mirrorless means no pentaprism mirror/mirror box,and with a camera that has a mirror when you look through the view finder youre looking at a mirrored image of what being seen through the lens, hence optical view finder..Mirrrored dslr's are generally bulkier...a mirrorless camera usually has a EVF,electronic view finder and a exposed sensor in the opening where the lens connects...the EVF is very beneficial as you see a digitally processed image of what youre going to get in tge end result of the photograph taken, including exposure,underexposure,etc...its a easier way to learn photography...the dslr camera's with a mirror,if you dont know anything about exposure, lighting or basic photography, youre gonna have to learn it.. Mirrorless, smaller, lighter camera and quicker learning curve..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A mirrorless camera is smaller because it does not need space for the mirror.
