Hi Christopher, Since both of these cameras use E-mount lens, you may use the lens of the a500 for a7RM2. However, you may encounter some restrictions when using lenses that are not supplied with the camera. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes,you can use all apsc lenses on this model,BUT youll have to switch camera to APSC in the menu if its not in Auto by default..this will cause you to have 18mp images versus 42.4mp images due to 1.5× crop from the apsc lens...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I believe it can be used with a series lens. But I would check with sony before I would do it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will either revert automatically to crop mode which will yield only 19 megapixel images, or you will get a very large vignette. So while it will work, it is not recommended. The lens is too weak to really bring to what this camera is capable of.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the lenses from the a5000 can be used on the Sony a7rII but the images will be cropped to an APS-C size.
