Follow the steps exactly for programming: the buzzer is the default. I had to do this twice: first, make sure you program a radio station as one of the presents (1,2,3 etc.) And, as you go through the programming function, remember to hit the snooze bar (ENTER) after each programming selection. I didn't have the station programmed the first time and the result was the default buzzer.

Unplug the clock radio from AC power for 30 seconds. 3. Plug the clock radio back in to AC power. 4. Reinstall the back up batteries, if the clock radio uses these. 5. Set the time on the clock radio. Then try to set the alarm again to radio. If it still does not work you may contact Sony Tech support at 1-239-245-6362, for further troubleshooting.

When you are on the station you want, hold the preset button down (they are numbered with the nature sounds) and then press the enter (snooze bar) key. Also, make sure you are on the right band (AM/FM) when you set the alarm.
