• Has a USB port to charge phones, tablets etc. no mic in unit, but can use your phone on its speaker while plugged in and charging

• There is a USB charging port on the side, but I do not think it can be used as a speaker phone. Check with Sony about that

• Yes. I charge my iPhone every night using this clock. I haven't used it for hands free talking, but don't see why it wouldn't work.
