Hi checare, playback of files from the HDRAS20 using the RMLVR2 is not supported. Please check out this link for the remote functions compatible with your camera, http://www.sony.net/Products/actioncam/common/img/support/LVR/list_of_Compatibilty_Chart_lvr2.pdf. Thanks_Mitch
