Hi, Enlacres! The charging status indicator lamp goes out when charging is completed. (full charge). The charging time depends on the model of the battery pack you are charing. Check here for more details: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/4442/44422371M.pdf. -Vincent
