The player has the Digital out (coaxial) for wired audio output only, which is is used to connect the player to an amplifier or receiver that has a compatible digital coaxial input.
Therefore, the tiny speakers you mentioned might not work. The good new is that you can check on your TV specifications to check if they can be connected to the TV instead and continue to use them. Hope that helps and thanks for choosing Sony!
