“Does this dvd player scratch dvds? Nobody mentions anything about dvds. My current player does that since many of my discs have circular scratches which destroy the disc (I already had to replace some of them!).”

• Blu-ray/DVD players don't scratch discs, humans do. If your DVD player scratches them, throw it out!

• Just checked my discs and they look fine. No scratches in the six weeks since I purchased this player, which I would recommend to anyone.

• It does not scratch any disc. (I have never encountered a player capable of scratching discs).
