The Sony BDPS1500 Blu-ray Player is a great value. Blu Ray discs load very fast and the picture quality is awesome.

I bought this for my parents when I set up a new living room system for them. The main reason I went with this model was the price and the fact that it included a coaxial digital output. For some reason, many players do not but I wanted them to be able to use it as a cd player with the sound at and not have to have the t.v. on. The video quality is more than acceptable for this price range and there have been no issues. They do not use the streaming capabilities since that is all done through their t.v. so I can not speak to how it performs in that regard. I believe I got it on sale for the mid $50 range.

Wasn't sure what I'd get for the low cost and the small size of the player. Turns out to have great quality and many features that larger more expensive units have. Easy hook up and small to where it doesn't take up space on the tv stand. I highly recommend this player to those looking to quickly get to watching Blu-Rays and streaming videos.

Very convenient doesnt take up a lot of space very easy to operate affordable and has a ton of aps. Instant access to netflix which i love blu ray and dvd playback is smooth so far i haven't encountered any problems with any of the features. Another good product from sony.

This was bought along with a matching 48" Sony TV for my mom, specifically because it would integrate easily and be usable on the TV remote by my mom. Picture quality is fine, usability is easy, and she doesn't have to call me to ask which buttons to press on the remotes, which is a total win for me! This model doesn't have wireless, which is okay in the current installation because there's a network switch right next to it, but I would recommend spending a few more dollars and getting the wireless version, one less wire and you'll still get song titles and firmware upgrades.

Small in size, but packed full of features. Very simple in set up, and has been working perfectly since purchase. An excellent choice for the price!

It does exactly what I bought it for. It plays Blue Rays. small footprint and easy to set up. great price point for a cheap DVD player

I was looking for a small and simple Blue Ray player. I got exactly that with this box. Easy to set up, good cheap price and very small so I could hide it well. The only thing I would change is give me the ability to mount it on the wall behind the TV. Since the disc would slip around in the current design I can't do that butt it sure would be nice if I could hide all of my components behind a wall mounted TV...

I needed a player that was small and not heavy, this one is perfect. It was easy to connect and operate. The picture quality is excellent, the price was great too. I'm very pleased, and it's just what I was looking for. Only thing that could make it better, if it came in colors.

This player doesn't have wifi but it has the ability to hook up via Ethernet, so if you have redundant products that have built in Apps and you don't need them this unit is the way too go. It puts up a very nice solid HD picture and colors look and feel accurate. Load times are quick and the unit doesn't take up much shelf space. Great inexpensive player.

This little guy is great for streaming and running blu-rays ..... as you would expect. The overall size of the box is very small and easily tucks away into any entertainment center. Purchased this to run video content in my basement while I'm down there. No problems to date so it's a solid buy

Bluray players have become very small and lightweight almost to the point of feeling cheap. This player is no different. This player is easy to setup, simple to use that even my 4 year old can operate it. It loads quickly and has a wide range of features that make it as Effective as a chrome cast.

Small, easy to setup, easy to do a firmware update. And I love the fact that you can watch DVD's in full 1080P/24 playback. Amazing picture quality, great sound and I am very happy to have purchased this.

The Sony - BDPS1500 Streaming Blu-ray Player has the essentials of a great Blu-Ray player. Among the apps, the Sirius installation allows you to access not just the music channels but also the talk and entertainment shows. The player does not have wireless; so to access the internet to perform updates, you need to use an ethernet cable. My only complaint is the bulky power adapter that comes with so many Sony products. I wish that it came with a regular plug instead. All in all, it is a nice, compact device that has seemingly infinite features in comparison to the first Blu-Ray disc player that I ever purchased.

I bought this along with Star Wars on Blu Ray, so I was eager to get it working. I was happy to find the set up was very easy. I bought this model (as opposed to the newer ones with wifi capabilities) simply because I only needed this to play blu-ray discs. I already have a Smart TV and Apple TV. I already have access to tons of apps like Netflix, Hulu, etc., so I am not even utilizing all of its features. If you want to use it for the app capabilities, you may want to buy one of the newer models to make set up easier (since they are wifi enabled).

This is a great blu ray player. Compact, easy to operate and it gives a great definition. Great colors, really defined picture. With a smart tv, gives you a full screen whether you play a blu ray or a regular dvd. Simply awesome!!!

movies load very fast. player is very small and very lightweight. remote is small but has all the necessary buttons you need. it doesn't have WiFi built in but you can connect a Ethernet cable to it and download apps.

For the price you can't go wrong. Obviously plays Blu-ray's flawlessly and I have had absolutely no problem running Netflix or other apps through the player as I have had with other brands.
