Would this work with a bluetooth LG soundbar? null

Check the interfaces with your LG soundbar. If it has Bluetooth, you should be able to connect as with any other source. I have my Sony turntable connected with the RCA phono jack to my older Klipsch soundbar and it works well, detecting the source, be it my TV (connected via another interface) or the turntable.
