The base is about 13 3/4 " deep and the cover hinges add another 5/8" to make it 14 3/8" deep. But the footprint of the bottom that would come in contact with your table is only 12". So it should sit easily on your table. Just don't put the table against a wall or you might not have room to open the cover.
