No, you don't need anything else. That is what makes this a great entry level turntable. You can use a Bluetooth speaker, or a wired speaker. The speaker must have a power source -- either a receiver or is self-powered. A great solution for speakers is the Edifier powered bookshelf speakers I've linked below. If you want to connect this to a speaker with 3.5mm input (headphone jack), you'll need an adapter like the one I've linked.
