The speaker rests on the collar bone. A few inches from the ears. Very comfortable, forget they’re on.

Regarding your first question, the SRSNB10/H rest on top of the clavicle and at the back of the neck. As for your second question, it is approximately 4 inches. And for your last question, no, they’re not designed for wearing them while sleeping. Additional information: The NB10 Wireless Neckband Speaker is great for more than just working from home - this neckband speaker delivers clear, personal sound through Bluetooth connectivity on your TV or smartphone, so you can watch movies, listen to music, and play your favorite games, all with the same personalized audio experience. I hope this helps you, and thanks for considering Sony! Best regards, Romeo
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The speakers are slightly behind the ears when resting on the shoulders. I would no recommend sleeping with this on, it's not secure and could be broken if rolling over them. If you fall asleep sitting up in a chair, then yeah, it could work and you probably wouldn't be bothered by them when sleeping (nix on bed use).
