• It should work. If you are not able to figure it out, try to press the power button for 30 seconds and see if that will reset the Bluetooth pairing for you.

• I had the same problem and realized I had to hold the power button a few seconds longer even after it said, "power on". It should say, "bluetooth connected". Sorry, forgot it you need to go to Bluetooth setting then connect device before all that or after, but it works on my mac, both ipads and iphone.
