There is a setting to automatically turn off after a certain amount of time for folks who watch TV in bed. Unplug TV for a few minutes, and then plug into a wall outlet rather than a surge protector to test. Check surge protector if you had it plugged into one. If TV turns on using the wall outlet, then check if setting to automatically turn off got set by mistake, or surge protector got tripped. Otherwise, if none of these suggetions work, check the SONY BRAVIA on-line help for other suggestions.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your sony will not turn on at all I would suggest checking sony's forums and help support. I don't recall there being a reset method for when the tv is off. Check the manual as well. I know there are energy saver settings that turn the tv off once it hasn't been in active use for so long, but you should still be able to turn it back on immediately after. This settings can also be disabled or increase the waiting time.
