Hello 1st SMART TV, thank you for your message. In regards to your concerns, if you'd like to buy a wireless TV capable you will not need to buy a Blu-ray disc player for connectivity to the internet. If you are interested in purchasing this particular model number of TV, you will be able to stream or search on the internet having a home network only.
