“I need a cd player for car. Portable ones dont last. Can I get a converter for car to plug in car playing. Does this cd player draw too much. I can use jack as an output to the car speakers.”

I do not know. The one I purchased is a Portable AM / FM with CD Player. There is a jack for headphones You could use a Inverter to go from DC to AC
