“Can this one play split track CD'S playing only the instrumental music instead of the voices with the music? I need a CD player that will cut out the voices on a CD. If this one doesn't do that, can you recommend one that will?”

I don't think there is anything out there that will do that. Now, there is an option ( you may have heard of it) made by Sony called sound forge, it's a software for laptop or PC that will allow you to do al kind of mixing, and recording.
