“Is the "Line" connection on the back the same as "LFE"? I have the STR-DN1080 AVR, will that control the frequency of the sub, or will I have to adjust that manually on the sub itself?”

• I bought two of these subs and they might be my most disappointing electronic purchase ever. So IMO, don’t waste your time finding out if they will work with your system. Move on to a different brand.

• Hi Cmala, Thanks for your inquiry! LFE (Low Frequency Effects) is the same as Line. It's the RCA-to-RCA connection that connects the subwoofer to the AVR. The subwoofer has manual adjustments for gain and crossover. Hope this helps, and thanks again for your inquiry! Romeo
