Output for the subwoofer on a Denon receiver is passive so you would need an RCA cable to connect the active Sony subwoofer

Hi Seacow, thank you so much for your inquiry. We are sorry but the SA-CS9 115W 10” Active Subwoofer doesn't support a Bluetooth connection. If your Denon receiver has a special jack for a
subwoofer (like a MONO OUT jack, MIX OUT jack, SUBWOOFER jack, or SUPER WOOFER
jack), you can connect the LINE IN jack of the subwoofer to one of those jacks using the supplied audio connecting cord. I hope this helps! Thanks! - Romeo
