That’s exactly the way I’m using it. My TV allows selection of “subwoofer” out of the headphones jack, and that’s where I have it connected. Works great!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My Sonly TV has a mini-headphone output jack (stereo). I am trying to find out if I can run a cable with a mini-headphone plug on one end and a RCA connection on the other end to the line input connection on the back of the subwoofer. Like the first responder, I want to use the subwoofer only to extened the bass range of the TV.

We are not sure what brand/model of TV you have, however, if your TV supports one or both of the following connection, yes, you can: - MONO OUT jack - MIX OUT jack - SUBWOOFER output jack(s) - SUPER WOOFER output jack(s) I hope this helps! Sincerely, Romeo
