“Looking to purchase this subwoofer for my Sony STR-DH 590. I have 2 RCA ports on my receiver, will this subwoofer work using these ports? Or will I need something other than RCA connectors? If I need to use the subwoofer connectors will I need 1 or 2?”

I have the same receiver running the same subwoofer you are looking to purchase. You have the choice to use 2 subs since the receiver is a 5.2. One will work just fine with the rca port.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Subwoofers work with a single rca connection. Your receiver has 2 subwoofer output ports so you can connect 2 subwoofers if you wish. The single cable you need to connect from your receiver to the subwoofer is supplied with the subwoofer.
