I don't think you can tweak the sensitivity. mine is hooked direct to TV's sub amp and it works fine even if TV volume is low

If you turn down the volume level of the amplifier / AV receiver too low, the auto power on/off function may activate, causing the subwoofer to enter power saving mode, but this is not a malfunction. This is the same when there is no signal input for a few minutes, the POWER indicator lights up in red and the subwoofer enters power-saving mode. To turn off this power-saving mode, slide the POWER SAVE switch on the rear panel to OFF. Should you need more assistance or information, please feel free to message us at [email protected].
