• Yes, 18 would be fine but I would suggest 16 gauge or maybe even 14 if you run them hard.

• Yep. Pretty sure they'll work. I used super thick speaker wire - maybe >18g so no prob as far as I could see.

• Yes 18 gauge is plenty for these speakers. That's what I used.
