It's very unlikely you will have a problem. Mostly when amplifiers are rated for an 8-ohm load, that just means that it won't meet some of its power output or distortion specs if used with 6- or 4-ohm speakers. You might get extra distortion or an amplifier shutdown if you play your music VERY loud for a long time. I'd say, GO FOR IT.
